When AP Valves' Buddy Inspiration closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) was
introduced commercially to the dive community in 1997, many
professionals within the industry hailed it as possibly the greatest
advance in scuba-diving since Jacques Cousteau introduced the aqualung.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER (CCR) DIVER AT UTILA DIVE CENTRE
The CCR Diver course is first level of certification we offer on Utila and is designed to
train divers in the benefits, hazards and safe use of the Buddy
Inspiration CCR within normal recreational limits.
Course Duration:
- 5 Days
Prerequisites:
- Advanced Nitrox Diver Certification (can be combined with course)
- Minimum 50 Logged Dives recommended
- Minimum 18 years old |

2007 IANTD INSPIRATION CCR SCHEDULE IN CENTRAL AMERICA
February Friday 3rd to Wednesday 8th, Utila, Honduras, Central America
April Sunday 9th to Friday 14th, Utila, Honduras, Central America
May Sunday 28th to Friday 2nd June, Utila, Honduras, Central America
July 4th to the 9th, Utila, Honduras, Central America
August Saturday 5th to Thursday 10th, Utila, Honduras, Central America
October Saturday 7th to Thursday 12th, Utila, Honduras, Central America
The IANTD Inspiration CCR Diver course on Utila, takes
approximately 5 dives and upon completion of the course training
objectives you will earn your certification. The course comprises
of
10 hours class room time that focuses on the knowledge needed for CCR
dive planning and pre-dive checks, plus practical workshops that cover
sensor analysis, battery power measurement and cannister packing.
You're first time in the water will be in a confined water session, in
our warm Caribbean waters at Utila Dive Centre, where you will learn
the basic motor skills of CCR diving before
progressing to Open Water training, in total you will spend 500 minutes
on in-water training over 8 dives on our beautiful South side reefs. |
